We also provide speech therapy services specifically for adults who are seeking support with speech, communication, or swallowing challenges. Our licensed speech-language pathologist works with adults experiencing difficulties related to:
Stroke, brain injury, or neurological conditions
Voice disorders (e.g., hoarseness, vocal strain)
Aphasia and language processing challenges
Cognitive-communication issues (attention, memory, organization)
Speech clarity or articulation concerns

Therapy is individualized to each person’s goals, needs, and lifestyle, and may include strategies for effective communication, strengthening muscles involved in speech and swallowing, compensatory techniques, caregiver education, and supportive tools.

We understand that it can feel overwhelming to know when to start services, which ones to choose, or where to begin. That’s why we’re happy to offer a free phone screening with our speech therapist. This call gives you a chance to ask questions, learn more about what Speech can offer, and decide whether it’s the right fit for you at this time.
-
We accept most insurances but always encourage families to ask their policy what coverage they have for Speech Therapy.
We need what is called a Dr’s Orders which prescribes Speech Therapy as a treatment modality - we can request this on your behalf with just the name of the Dr/provider, location, as well as client info. However, be sure you have spoke with them or sent in a chart message to inform them of your desire for the referral.
